Gingerbread house cross stitch

Time to get some of my Christmas cross stitch pieces out of boxes.  This cute little Gingerbread Saltbox cross stitch is a free pattern from the lovely Melisa at Pinker n Punkin Quilting Blog.

I added little Christmas buttons to the corners then just pinned it to the back of a box frame.

I'm going to be on the look-out for some little gingerbread people to perhaps add to the frame.

Hope you are enjoying re-visiting your Christmas cross stitch pieces.  Please check out Melisa's blog as it is so lovely and Christmasy  (and there's a new freebie house)!

Love, Liz

Aaah your Gingerbread House is precious, Liz and I adore how you finished it. I hope you enjoyed each and every stitch. The teeny buttons are precious and the frame is fabulous. Little gingerbread men would be a perfect addition to the box. Thank you for stitching it. You made my day. Hugs.
