I remember doing something quite like this when I was
little, but instead of a cloth background, it was a slotted sheet of card and
you stretched the yarn across and slotted it into the spaces till you got a
picture. I've not described that very
well, but I remember my brother and I getting these kits one Christmas when we were little. You were even given a frame for your finished
work. Cannot for the life of me remember
what that was called!
Anyway - these are quite cute and would probably be
collectable these days.
