Outlander Brooch

I've stepped outside my comfort zone of knitting and crochet and made myself a bit of jewellery!

Any regular readers will know that I absolutely love the "Outlander" series of books by Diana Gabaldon, so I decided to make a brooch which would show that.

I wanted it to look old fashioned, but also have a Scottish element.  Flawed, but it was my first effort at making a brooch.  I'm really pleased with it!

Love, Liz

Love it! Might have to get you making stock for the stall this year ;) I think I'll have to read the Outlander books, you're about the tenth person I've heard of who absolutely loves them! Fee x

My mother loves this series. I'm a little daunted by the length of it . . . so I haven't begun it (yet).
Your pin looks like a perfect tribute to the books.

It is great!! The brooch that it and it does have a vintage look about it. I have read all the Outlander series too ....dying to see it on TV. I bet it takes ages to get here to Spain though!!! May have to buy it when it comes out on DVD!!!
