Timing Is Everything!

I've had a rotten cold this week - been feeling really sorry for myself!  And then to crown it all - my oven gave up the ghost!

I've had 15 good years out of it, so can't really complain, but it just rounded off what had been a rotten week!

Never mind - this year's raspberry vodka was ready to decant into pretty bottles!  In your interest, dear readers, I had to have a little tiny sip so that I could tell you how it tastes!  It is marvoul  hic  stoopend really good!
 Love, Liz

Hihihi... what a humorous post (at least part two). I am sorry your oven does not work anymore - most of the time such things happen when one has guests, when it is weekend etc. etc. That raspberry vodka looks yummy - I would also like a sip but a big one! CHrista

Oh that Raspberry Vodka does look lovely! Must be a pleasure to drink!
What a pain about your oven, although I atleast its packed up before Christmas and not on The Day. I'm worried about my old cooker as the oven temperature is messing around, so keeping my fingers crossed it gets us through Christmas Day!
Enjoy the vodka Liz!

Sorry you have been under the weather, and hope you feel better soon. The raspberry vodka looks amazing in those pretty bottles, and every good distiller samples her wares first. . . . Just to be sure it tastes delicious!

Yum! Raspberries and vodka - you can't go wrong! I hope it will cure your cold (and also buy you a new oven).

Hope you are feeling better soon Liz. I'm sure the little tipple helped medicinally. Sorry to hear your oven has packed up. Not the best time for it to happen just before Xmas. I remember a few Xmas's ago ours kept turning off so we had to take it in turns to keep watch! Your raspberry vodka looks such a beautiful colour and I've read how nice this tastes. I think next year I will try making some using the raspberries from my allotment.

The vodka would make everything look so much better.
Sorry about the oven. Mine was 30 and still worked. You just had to prop the door closed with the broom. So, hubby got on the electronic market place and found me a nice second hand one. European, near new and hardly used. It is brilliant. Hope it lasts a while.
