Teapots For the Tea Party

Its virtual tea party day over at Mum's Simply Living blog.

I'm providing the teapots this year.

This is my favourite - my forget-me-not teapot (click to read more).  The maker's name is Kernewek and it was made in Cornwall.  I'm serving Assam tea from this.

My second favourite is the pink crinoline lady teapot (click to read more).  Made by Sadler it is just lovely!  I think I'll serve Lady Grey tea from this.

I got this teapot just recently.  Plain white, but with a little crown on it.  It was just from a supermarket, but I really like it.  If you fancy a cup of Ceylon tea, then choose this one.

Last, but not least, my everyday teapot, good old Betsy!  I've had her for years and she's served me well.  A lovely cup of down to earth Breakfast tea is what you'll get from her.

And since the days are getting mighty chilly, I'll just pop a tea cosy on to keep the pot warm!

Enjoy visiting the other participants in the virtual Autumn tea party.

Love, Liz

What delightful teapots and such a selection of tea to choose from thank you.
Do pop over to my garden party... my husband is from Largs down the road from you - but he doesn't drink tea & will be out sailing I'm afraid !

ah cute! love the white one, even though its from a supermarket! its hard to get nice vintage tea pots as i think they are easily broken so dont survive the years so well!

Aren't tea pots just lovely! And yours are quite splendid. I have just recently discovered that Twinings have "done" a limited edition New Zealand Earl Grey & it's just perfect. Much love Catherine x0x0x

The lady in crinoline is my favourite of your pots Liz, but any old pot wearing one of your gorgeous cosies would look lovely x

Beautiful teapots! I made myself a pot of tea today in a clear glass teapot, so not nearly as pretty as yours, but very nice French Vanilla tea.

Hi Liz,
Tea always tastes better in a pretty teapot! I am just stopping by again today to thank you for your visit and following my blog. I am following yours too. I also love the pink pom poms in your previous post; so sweet! My mother used to make pom poms and I have always loved them. I wish I could knit, I would knit a little hat for my granddaughter and put pom poms on it. Have a lovely weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi
