Charity shop find

Isn't this a pretty little dish!  Simple, but lovely colours.

It is Burleigh Ware made in Burselm, England.  Burleigh were established in 1851 and I love the little logo on the reverse of the dish.  Does anyone have any idea what the words under Burleigh Ware might read?

I found it in a charity shop and just had to rescue it!

Have a lovely, relaxing Sunday.

Love, Liz

Hello Liz. What a lovely little plate! Oh, don't you just adore finding such pretties in charity shops? It was so delightful to see that you visited my blog. I just followed yours! Please feel free to follow Writing Straight from the Heart, too! Hope your Sunday is terrific. Susan
What an adorable dish, Liz. I love its fresh colours. And I think the words read Burgess & Leigh Ltd. Do have a look here: http://www.aw-antiques-collectibles.co.uk/collecting-burleigh-ware.php xxx

Thanks for all the replies and for letting me know what the missing words were!

This is so pretty, Liz! Even the backstamps were beautiful back then!
How wonderful! All you have to mention is England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and I’m smitten by golly... did you ever discover the wording?
