Vintage Yellow Charity Shop Bargain!
I hope this lovely little piece of vintage embroidery
brightens up your day - it certainly brightened mine when I found it in a
charity shop last week.
I'm going to put this away just now - it will be perfect in
springtime with a vase of gorgeous yellow daffies.
The vibrant, bright yellow really caught my eye and at 25
pence - well, would you resist?
These photos were taken without the flash, but it is such a
dull day here in Greenock that they don't show it off in its true colours. I think it has been one of those transfer
pieces - can you just see the blue outline beside these stitches.
Have a happy weekend.
Love, Liz

Best wishes...
As much as I love christmas/winter I'm always happy when spring finally springs.
Have a lovely weekend

It's a shame that almost none of the younger generation has these skills.
Mind you with the price of linen and cotton these days some of these projects are a major investment.
Have a lovely weekend

Still chuckling at your Puppy book post :0)

Will, look beautiful with some Daffs.....So nice that it gets a new home and someone appreciates the time and love that has gone into making it.
