Storing threads
I used to cross stitch all the time. I have so many little bits and pieces which I've sewn over the years, but recently I've not been spending so much time with needle and thread.
Talking about thread - I thought I'd show you how I keep mine.
I got these boxes (once full of chocolates) back in the 90s and once I'd finished the goodies I found that they were the perfect place to store my threads. They are attractive to look at too.
Each drawer contains shades of certain colours, so I can find what I'm looking for very quickly.
I've promised myself that I'm going to do much more cross stitch this year.
One of my biggest problems is deciding which pattern I'm going to start with.
How do you store your threads?
Love, Liz

I've enjoyed my visit here, and finding your blog after you left a comment at mine. I'm not sure I would use the pimple potion tough!
Fabulous tea cosies, I've made a few of those in years gone by.
As soon as I finish an afghan (which will take me a couple months the way I'm going, haha!), I am planning on embroidering some linen towels. I'm so looking forward to it, since it's been quite awhile. I think I will adopt your sorting method if I can find a pretty box like that.
