Happy Birthday for the Queen . . .
I like the Beacon Tribute . . .
She was indeed stunning when she was younger and always dressed beautifully, and is still a very stylish dresser!
We too had a beacon lit on our village green to celebrate, we are very lucky and privileged to have such a dedicated and hard working Queen.
Have a good weekend Liz!

I watched the programme on TV last night it was wonderful to see her in her youth, a great programme.

Yes ! I enjoyed watching Prince William and Prince Harry showing old family cine camera ( not sure if that spelt correctly )footage . Delightful filming ...some of it taken by the Queen herself, of the children playing in the garden , on board ship ,beach and snow . Lovely ! :)
Yes these are lovely photos!
I'm thrilled the Queen is doing so well at 90!
We should all hope for such a healthy long life!
Cheers from New York.
Lighting the beacon seems a perfect way to celebrate that occasion. The early pictures of the Queen are always interesting to see. I also think that Prince William looks quite a bit like King George. I'd never thought of that before seeing this photograph.
