Knit Your Own ... Broons!

My son bought me this book, "Knit Your Own Broons" by Jackie Holt and Ruth Bailey (D C Thomson & Co. Ltd.).

Regular readers will know that I absolutely love the Broons family.  Now I can knit my own version!

My favourite character is the Bairn - and look, she has her own little mini-me dolly - how cute!

Fabulous gift from a lovely son - thank you.

Love, Liz

That's a fabulous and thoughtful gift. Here in Australia, we discovered The Broons from an ancient Annual in a charity shop when my son was about 12 (now 20 years ago!). I'm pretty sure Glen still has it. It's been well read through and loved by him and me over the years.

Amazing! I used to love the Broons when I was a wee girl. Unfortunately I've never been able to master knitting.
