Blue Tea Cosy

Just finished knitting a tea cosy in shades of blue.

Looks good with my Queenie biscuit tin.

Why do I always think of food when I've finished a tea cosy?  Blue Riband biscuits go really well with this one!  Yum!

Looks lovely and I like the cute little pompoms on top. I might have to pinch a blue ribbon biscuit - haven't had one of those for years!
It does look very blue riband like, you have put me in mind of chocolate now, I'm pretty sure I only have kitkats in though!

Hi Liz - what a lovely blog you have. All the way from Scotland..thank you for dropping by. I have never knitted a tea-cosy so I must try that soon. I'm knew at knitting again. I put it down 25 years ago when life got busy and now I am enjoying it again. I look forward to following you now. Deb

I love your knitted tea cozy, If I did one it would have to be crocheted or quilted. But yours is so pretty and I love that biscuit tin!
That's lovely and yes it's looks fabulous with your biscuit tin. Blue ribbon biscuits...now I haven't had one of those for years! xo
Wonderful! I just LOVE knitted tea cozies. I have a QEII coronation biscuit tine, but mine's filled with plain choc HobNobs. Thanks for visiting! You should link up with Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

The tea cozy is pretty and although I never use one, my mother always did and the tea was kept hot.
What a cute tea cozy! I love the pom-poms on top! My mother used to make those all the time when I was growing up. Unfortunately, I never learned how. Thank you for coming to tea and I hope you are having a splendid day over there in Scotland.

Blessings,
Sandi

I really like your blue and white tea cosy. Did you make up the pattern? I do more crochet than knitting. I've been thinking about making a cosy ... better put it on my list of things to make. It goes nicely with your Queen biscuit tin. Happy Tea Day!
The colours are perfect. How many different ones can you come up with?

It's the perfect shades of blue for the tin. I love the tea cozie you made for me a couple of years ago. I use it often, and it's shown up in several post photos on my blog.
What a wonderful job your did on your tea cosy, Liz. I'm sure it keeps your tea all warm and perfect.
Adorable cozy! Love the biscuit tin too! : )

There's something about tea cosies and making tea in a tea pot. These days with the use of mugs and tea bags (which I do every day), the appeal of a pot of tea is quite soothing. Love your cosy.

such an adorable tea cozy! I always use one as I like my tea really hot!
What a cute tea cozy! You are so talented! I just finished a crochet one but not as nice as yours. Lovely tin too!
