They are Colclough china.
I don't know what type of flower this is, although I'm sure someone out
there will be able to tell me.
I don't know if it is obvious from the photographs, but they
are a very pale bluey-green rather than white or cream. Very pretty!
Hadn't realised how long since my last post. We had family staying all week and the time
just flew past! The weather was fabulous
- bright and sunny, so we were able to get out and about quite a lot. Hope everyone had a lovely Easter and I
promise to catch up with you all very soon!
Love, Liz

The flowers are very pretty and I love the colour. Glad to hear you've had some sunshine.

Dear Liz
The trio of flowers looks like violets - Viola Odorata - with the leaves in front. There is a leaf behind the single flower which doesn't look like a violet leaf at all though. The tendril bit suggests a sweet pea -perhaps it is a Spring sweet pea - Lathyrus vernus?
Some lovely finds again. You have some great shops there!
Best wishes
Ellie
I think they are violets. Whatever they are, they are sooooo pretty!!
It's very pretty, I had a whole tea set of this in the 80s....gave it all away when I went minimal in the 90s....that didn't last long needless to say! :) x
Periwinkle springs to mind. Very pretty x
Looks a bit like Hyacinth Boquet's "Periwinkle" do you think? Anyway it's really lovely, Lucey x
So beautiful and love the lilac color!! xo Heather
Hi Liz, I would say violets too as I have lots in my garden usually (not yet out though!), they are so tiny and pretty.
Lovely finds, I hope you enjoy using them!

Such pretty teacups ... I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves to bring home a new teacup! The flowers look like violets to me ... wild violets. I have a few pieces with violets on them, since both my mother and HER mother were named 'Violet'. I guess that inspired a lot of their friends to buy them china with violets :)
Gorgeous! I had a good haul today in charity shops in Cambridge, will post them soon. Not as pretty as yours, but some very nice glass and linen.
I was going to suggest violets, but it was only a guess because of the colour! But they are so very pretty, aren't they? xxx
No idea on the flowers but they are pretty :) Have had to put my china collecting on hold until I move :( However once we do, I plan to use some pieces every day rather than just look at them!!
My horticulturist husband says they are violets Liz and what beautiful china!
What a sweet set Liz, and the flowers do look like violets :o)
Have a great weekend.

I think I've commented this before; if I'd been in the shop with you there would have been a stampede to get these! You would have won, though, as I am quite decrepit. Violets, I think.
Ooh these are lovely. I cant't help with what type of flower they are though, sorry.

Lovely cups Liz...

Very lovely indeed! I haven't had any great charity shop finds for ages so am enjoying reading about others'. x
Those are adorable! Very interesting with the bluey-green background.
I know everyone else is saying violets.. so I guess that's what they are! There are quite a few types of violets I believe.. They look like little wild ones.
GREAT SCOre!
I love them! They seem to be the same era as my honeysuckle colcough cup and saucer! They're violets, though not particularly accurate drawings but pretty anyway xx
same here, when I wrote my post I couldn't believe it was over a week since my last one! cups are great, never seen that pattern before
