Better Late Than Never!

Yeah!  I've finished it at last!  My Jubilee Tea Cosy.

Actually that should read - I've finished them at last - because I just got around to sewing up these tea cosies yesterday.  Instead of doing it as I finished knitting them, I started a new one instead.  As a result, they have been in my knitting basket for a few months just waiting to be finished off.  Tut tut!!!!!  Do you ever put off finishing a project?

Spent yesterday in the house as it was such a terrible day.  Finished these off, got through a pile of ironing and did a bit of baking, all the while listening to Magic radio - a wonderful day.

Still a few pom poms to do and then they are ready to go to new homes.

Now, time for a cuppa!  Hope its not too wet and windy where you are.

Linking up with Lakota at Faith, Hope & Charity Shopping for Ta Da Tuesday!

Love, Liz
Greetings from a wet and windy Greenock!

Love those tea cosies! It's mighty cold here today - there's some sun amid all the rain!
Time for a nice cuppa - you've put me just in the mood with the cosies.

Well done Liz, they look great, a lovely bit of colour to brighten up these Autumn days! Love Linda x
Definitely stay at home and crochet/knit weather! I love your jubilee cosy, very patriotic. x

Lovely tea cosies that would brighten up any kitchen... I love knitting them too! And yes, I do put off the finishing touches on some projects... I always want to get onto the next thing, sewing up, sewind in ends etc., delays that so tends to be put off. But then, you get one of those days when it's just good to be indoors and you do the boring bits to your projects, and then feel very satisfied when you can look at the completed item.
Wet yesterday, very blowy in my corner of Norfolk today.
Liz I love the colors..All of them so perfectly cozy...smiles...Renee

Oooh Liz, what wonderful tea cozies. I just found your blog, and I am your newest follower. Now I just have to figure out what Magic Radio is!!
Hugs,
Julie
Fabulous tea cosies! They look very homely. I have a work-in-progress tray for my crafts, and my rule is that I don't get to start another project until the tray is empty. The problem is I ignore my rule and have two grisly headless mice and a bag yet to finish! You have inspired me, I will be firmer with myself.

Fun! How much longer does your tea stay warm with the cosy?
Thanks for dropping by ;o)
Not sure what kind of weather we will be having today, so I'll say Aloha from before sunrise Hawaii....

Lovely cosies, Liz ... I have a WIP granny square in red, white and blue ... was started for Royal Wedding, then Jubilee, then Olympics and Paralympics ... what's next? I may get it finished for that! xxx

The tea cosies are just so pretty..I am liking the double pom poms on top :)
That is one thing about miserable weather, jobs that otherwise would get put on the side burner get done :P
Enjoy your cuppa, sounds like you deserve it with all the work you have done..:)

Is a collection of tea cosies called a 'comfort' I wonder? As a cuppa is certainly a comfort to me!

Oh so lovely! The pink one ps cool, bit I do rather like the patriotic jubilee one as well. Not so late really, the jubilee can last all year! Wet and rainy yesterday here in London, but sunny today, albeit windy; I live the energy of the wind.
Fabulous cosies Liz!

Am terrible about neglecting WIPs in favour of starting something new too!

Great tea cosies! I love the story of the lion and the bees as well. Advertising is funny...you wouldn't put anything like that on a new product nowadays, yet for years people have accepted the graphic, not even noticing it.
